RIGOR MORTIS

─ 2021

It is the story of a man who has lost the woman he loves. He lives with his grief until it becomes his closest companion.

Lost in the mechanics of his memory, he tries to piece together the fragments of the past, while a part of him clings desperately, breathing life into memories like a Dr. Frankenstein.

The performance is a traumatic chamber piece exploring the liminal space between life and death. Can memory become the last line of resistance against disappearance? What does our obsession with “keeping alive” and pushing the boundaries of death reveal?

Between intimacy and dreamlike imagery, the play unfolds a complex universe where mechanical machines animate inanimate objects, awakening echoes of the past.
